- Dress Parade Exhibit Continues on display! A showcase of clothing and outerwear spanning the 20th century, including a remarkable piece from 1885. This exhibit will evolve with the seasons.
- Wednesday, March 12 @ 9:30AM – Chamber Coffee at the Museum; Join us for a morning of community, conversation, and coffee at the museum.
-Wednesday, March 12 @ 2:30PM- Local FFA students will present a program from the Study Hall highlighting FFA history, their SAE projects, backgrounds, and the many activities our chapter is involved in throughout the year.
-Friday, March 28. Join us for our Annual Banquet, celebrating 6 Decades of Discovering History. This special evening will feature a pictorial timeline from 1965 to the present, accompanied by live musical talent on the Old Central Stage. Tickets on Sale now. Doors open at 5:15, Dinner at 6pm.
- Saturday, May 3 – Le Mars Historic Preservation Commission’s Tour of Homes is back! Explore historic homes in Le Mars and experience the city’s rich architectural heritage.
-Sunday, May 4 - The 21st Art Pahl-Peter Boe Accordion Fest is back! This cherished event will be in the Museum's Old Central Gym at 2pm. Enjoy the performances and an accordion exhibit.
- Friday, July 4 – Annual 4th of July Picnic held at the Museum following the parade.
- Wednesday, July 23 – Sunday, July 27 – Plymouth County Fair.
The Country Store will be open, serving signature flavored lemonades, baked goods, and nostalgic candy for kids.y to conclude the festivities
- October 15-19 – Annual Great Garage & Bake Sale

Celebrate Halloween with a fun and spooky night at the museum!
- Le Mars Historic Preservation Commission Chamber Coffee at the Museum; Connect and learn about upcoming events. 9:30AM on the 2nd Floor.
Celebration of Iowa Museum Week- The Museum will feature a special exhibit by Mona Bomgaars, showcasing textiles, artifacts and artwork from Nepal.
June 18 -21. Le Mars celebration of Ice Cream Days. We will be featuring
Old Fashioned Root Beer floats and scavenger hunt for kids, making history a fun and sweet experience.
